今天小編要分享英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)，就只有一個(gè)單詞period?？隙R上就有小可愛(ài)舉手說(shuō)，我知道，是“一段時(shí)期”的意思。錯是沒(méi)有錯，但是沒(méi)有這么簡(jiǎn)單啦。
　　Period I
　　女孩子每個(gè)月總有那么幾天，可能情緒低落狀態(tài)不好，不想上學(xué)不想上班，甚至什么都不想做。而這段特殊時(shí)期，就叫做period。
　　 I'm on my periods. I don't want to do anything. 我特殊時(shí)期，什么也不想干。不過(guò)，這并不是我們今天要說(shuō)的重點(diǎn)。
　　Period II
　　period還可以表示“句號”，口語(yǔ)中用來(lái)強調“就這樣”“我說(shuō)完了”“沒(méi)什么可更改的”。 -You want to marry her? Are you crazy?
　　你打算娶她？你瘋了嗎？-She is the woman who I want to spend the rest of my life with, period!
　　她是那個(gè)我想與之度過(guò)余生的女人，就這樣！

　　這里面的with是不可以省略的，spend the rest of my life with the woman，但是位置比較隨意，在定語(yǔ)從句中，可以放在后面，也可以放到前面。于是，這句話(huà)就可以變成：
　　She is the woman with whom I want to spend the rest of my life, period!
　　This is the “period”, period!
