邵陽(yáng)市機電職業(yè)技術(shù)學(xué)校創(chuàng )辦于1960年,是湖南省人民*批準、邵陽(yáng)市人民*主辦的正處級全日制財政全額撥款的中等職業(yè)學(xué)校。2004年由原邵陽(yáng)市技工學(xué)校、第二技工學(xué)校和市就業(yè)培訓中心合并而成,同年被勞動(dòng)部批準為高級技工學(xué)校、重點(diǎn)技工學(xué)校。學(xué)校是中等職業(yè)教育改革發(fā)展示范性學(xué)校、級和省級高技能人才培訓基地、職業(yè)技能鑒定中心、湖南省扶貧培訓基地、湖南省就業(yè)工作先進(jìn)集體、邵陽(yáng)市社會(huì )公眾信得過(guò)學(xué)校、邵陽(yáng)市雙文明單位。

助學(xué)金政策(2000元/年,發(fā)放2年) 邵陽(yáng)市三區(大祥區、雙清區、北塔區)所有、邵東縣全縣所有、其余各縣城關(guān)鎮(縣城所在地)城市,按在校人數總數15%的比例評比發(fā)放。 除上述地區外的所有學(xué)生(含少數民族)均享受助學(xué)金。 免學(xué)費政策(3200元/年,免3年學(xué)費) 邵陽(yáng)市城市(不包括市轄郊區鄉鎮)按在校人數總數10%的比例評比發(fā)放。 除上述地區外的所有學(xué)生(含少數民族)均享受免學(xué)費。 助學(xué)金發(fā)放對象、免學(xué)費發(fā)放對象為評比對象的學(xué)生都必須持有所居住居民委員會(huì )開(kāi)具的困難證明。
